Heidi Joubert is a soulful singer-songwriter and internationally renowned percussionist known as the Queen of Cajon. After inspiring millions through her YouTube channel and workshops, she now steps into the spotlight with her debut solo album Chaos + Peace—a vibrant mix of rhythm, melody, and storytelling. Performing with her all-star band, trio, duo, or solo, Heidi brings passion and groove to every stage.
About Heidi Joubert
Born in South Africa and based in Europe, Heidi began her career at age 17 busking (street performing) in London and fronting her band Fernando’s Kitchen. She became a global cajon pioneer, building the world’s largest online cajon community with 138K+ subscribers on her YouTube channel and 19M+ views.
She also became well known internationally due to a video Jam in the S-bahn in Frankfurt that went Viral in 2016, which saw over 70 million views in one of the uploaded Facebook videos, resulting in her appearance on the Markus Lanz Show and The breakfast Show, Germany, and TEDx Talk show.
She moved to Germany to focus on her solo project and In 2024, she toured arenas with German rock legend Marius Müller-Westernhagen and recorded her debut album Chaos + Peace in the USA with producer Jack Daley (Lenny Kravitz, Beyoncé). Her music blends soul, jazz, rock, and world influences with heartfelt lyricism and rhythmic mastery.
Heidi now tours actively across Europe (focusing on Germany) and the USA, recently selling out her debut headline shows—including The Bitter End in New York and her first self promoted Album launch Show in Soltau, Germany.
